When viewer data is sent to a cloud-based processor, the risks of data breaches increase significantly.  A single lapse in data security could potentially lead to data breaches, violating data privacy laws and exposing organisations to heavy fines, legal disputes, and reputational damage. Therefore, while traditional personalised video platforms may offer convenience, the associated risks are still there.

In addition to our in-browser rendering, Video Canvas offers a self-host option for added security and control. Customers can opt to host the Video Canvas player and all associated content on their own infrastructure, eliminating reliance on third-party servers. This option provides an additional layer of security and control, ensuring sensitive data remains entirely within the customer's IT environment.

The self-host option also allows for seamless integration into existing systems, ensuring a consistent and user-friendly experience. With the full content bundle available as a ZIP file, including video assets, images, and player template, the Video Canvas player can be fully customised and integrated into your environment.

A Bespoke Player for a Customised Experience

One of the key distinguishing features of Video Canvas is our bespoke player. Unlike most applications that rely on pre-existing video players and libraries, our player was crafted in-house utilising the latest web technologies to  enhance the viewing experience.

Our player is also unique in its responsive design, which optimises the viewing experience across different screens. Whether viewed on a desktop, tablet, or mobile device, the player automatically adjusts the layout to provide the best user experience possible. For example, when displayed on a portrait touch device, the player is laid out in a two-row solution (video on top, slides below), maximising the space allocated to each element.

In terms of interactivity, our innovative 'recap exercise' infuses gamification into the video journey, significantly boosting viewer engagement. Not only do viewers find these interactive elements compelling, but they also provide our customers with tangible insights into the viewer's comprehension of the content.
